Headquarter and Bible Institute of Pentecostals under attack

Saturday night, during the weekend of April 11th-13th RussiaTerroristState bombed Kyiv again, like every night before. The head quarter of Ukrainian Pentecostal Union and Kyiv Bible Institute building is among least damaged.

According to lastest reports now church members were wounded during the attack. As of today about 80 Pentecostal church buildings have however been damaged (including.12 destroyed) countrywide. Pentecostal Commission on Religious Liberty wrote in late 2024, that even orthodox and baptist churches have been damaged during the war – alltogether about 700 religious buildings. Pentecostal Church completely destroyed

One of the Pentecostal Church buildings was completely destroyed by two targeted Russian Shahed drone strikes in the village of Banychi, Sumy region on Thursday, March 27th, at approximately 10:00 PM. The village is located 18 kilometers from the border with Russia.

The church was attacked by two Shahed drones, reports Bishop Viktor Klets of the Sumy Region Українська Церква Християн Віри Євангельської/Ukrainian Pentecostal Church.

”The church is the center of community life. A Children’s Center operated here, providing childcare since October 2022. Preschool preparation courses were also held. The church sees our children as most vulnerable part of our community, we could take good care of. The war wounds been cured and healed here”.

Pastor Mykola Mohylevskyi: ”I want to thank the Lord for His mercy! Because of the late hour, there was no one in the building – no one was injured, praise God! The church continues its ministry. And we will rebuild the building, God willing!”
