We are greatly concerned of persecutions against Christians in Nigeria. Regular news publications and reports show gain of religious freedom violation. There were over 2200 believers killed in the country during 2020! Children, ladies and elderly people are most vulnerable and suffer much. Islamic State currently holds dozens of captives, including Christian leaders and workers.
Ukrainian Pentecostal Church addressed to the President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari. ”We urge the Nigerian authorities to guaranty respect for human rights in the country, providing religious liberty to the citizens” reads letter signed by Mykhailo Panochko, Ukrainian Pentecostal Church senior bishop.
I visited the Nigerian Embassy in Kyiv on December the 16th to express our concern and support to our beloved brothers and sisters in Nigeria. Ukraine Council of Evangelical Protestant Churches delivered its statement on the issue to the Embassy as well. Ukraine Ministry of Foreign Affairs is informed and about to contact state representatives soon in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
Millions of prayer warriors wrote and visited Soviet Embassies in Nordic states during decades of atheism regime in SU. My grandpas, father and uncles paid their price for the freedom we enjoy in Ukraine now. I keep in my memory their stories of God’s faithfulness and your care, dear friends in Finland, Sweden, and Norway etc. With gratitude we join your prayers battles and advocacy efforts for countries where our friends still suffer today. We will not leave them alone!

This is really great! May I ask carefully – What are we doing from the Scandinavian countries for suffering Christians in Nigeria?
